I received a rather peculiar call from someone claiming to be with Quindell Solicitors, all about a vehicle incident. They informed me that the other party had supposedly made a claim on their insurance for what they termed as 'slight discomfort' and suggested that I was entitled to the same compensation. I'm constantly receiving unwelcome phone calls that involve aggressive scams about car accidents that never happened. It appears that these scammers have obtained my contact information and car details without my permission, likely through insurance companies. It's frustrating because I'm also a registered member of the Telephone Preference Service (TPS), a service that is supposed to prevent such calls. Unfortunately, I have chosen to stop answering these calls altogether and hope that eventually, they will cease. My experience with TPS has not been satisfactory.

I receive frequent calls throughout the day from an unknown number. Eventually, I decided to answer when I was near a man who could assist me. The person on the other end seemed to struggle with English and had a foreign accent. They claimed to be from Ware and insisted that there was an accident involving me, even though no such accident had actually occurred. When I asked for their name, they replied with the unusual name "Anthony Anthony." I expressed my skepticism, which angered them, and they began using profanity and shouting at me. Their behaviour was completely psychotic and uncontrollable. I have registered with the TPS to avoid such calls, but unfortunately, I am unsure how to block these harassing individuals.

I received a phone call today at 5:30 PM (4th September 2015) from someone claiming to be from 'Castle Key'. They alleged that my monthly standing order hadn't been processed and that my membership was about to expire. I was not familiar with 'Castle Key' and questioned them further. The caller insisted that the standing order had been debited from my account for the past year and explained that it was a "members club where ladies take their bras off." Realizing the mistake, I told him that he must have dialed the wrong number. However, to my surprise, he accurately identified my name, address, and even mentioned the type of car I own, referring to "the one with the attractive negro lady in the back" (please note, he used this racial slur which I am quoting). At this stage, I terminated the call, although I am concerned that he possesses knowledge about my vehicle.

I've been dealing with this issue for several weeks now. Today, the individual was extremely unpleasant and even went as far as threatening to pay me a visit at my home. I promptly contacted the police and lodged a report, although their assistance was somewhat limited.
