I got a call about some PPI refund. They wanted my bank info for the transfer but when I said I'd take a cheque, they said I had to hand over £300 in cash to the guy bringing it. Told me the bloke’s name was Mark Right. Definitely a scam!! Watch out what info you share with these lot.

01618187833 is a total scam, they phoned saying I had £3500 from PPI. They claimed they could give me £2000 in cash and a cheque for £1500. Some guy called Mark Wright was meant to come round at 7pm to give me the money. But then they asked me to buy an Amazon voucher for £350, saying it was their 10% fee and to keep the tax office out of it. Do NOT be fooled by these scammers, they’re absolutely the worst.

Got a call saying they were from Sky about my internet connection dropping. When they asked if I’d noticed any signal issues, I told them everything was working fine. Then the person just hung up on me.

I played along and said I’d just been in a crash, which seemed to really get them buzzing. Then I said it was a serious one, and they sounded even more eager. I told them I’d been decapitated. Of course, the surgeons had put my head back on - otherwise I couldn’t be chatting to them - but I said I was pleased they rang because they could assist with a medical negligence case - the hospital apparently stitched my head on backwards. They hung up on me pretty sharpish after that.

Somebody rang about life insurance, I told ’em it’s none of their business and ended the call. They phoned again to ask where they got my info, and said I must’ve signed up somewhere but wouldn’t say where, blaming GDPR rules. I always make sure I don’t opt in to these things. Asked them to take me off their list, but we’ll see if they actually do.

This number has called me loads of times, some annoying bloke kept saying my first name like he knew me and kept trying to make me say it back. I just got fed up, hung up and blocked it. They ring me from it like several times a week. Reading other comments makes me feel better but even after blocking, they still keep ringing.

This company keeps ringing me, trying to chat with someone called Olivia Severedes (definitely not me). I've blocked loads of their numbers but they just keep calling from new ones. Now when I ask who they are, they just hang up. Proper nuisance! I've told anyone asking for that Severedes lady to remove my number, but it feels like they're ignoring GDPR because the calls keep coming.
