Some bloke rang me claiming to be from Royal London insurance, asking about my policy details, number, and how much I pay. I obviously didn’t have any of that info ready and wouldn’t just hand it over to some random caller. He even knew my full name and called me by my first name, which I found way too personal and told him to stop. The way he spoke was really pushy. I’ve checked, he’s not from Royal London at all. Definitely a scammer, so watch out.

Definitely NOT Legal and General or any legit insurance firm. This person ringing you is a con artist (a total cheat) trying to get your details to pass on to other scammers. You should report these calls to the police or nfib. Just search ‘action fraud’, pick the 'police.uk' website, then hit the ‘report’ button and follow the steps. It’s way quicker than just posting here.
