Received a call from 01618141899, a woman claimed she was from Oaksmore Issa, offering a 7% return on investments. After looking into it, I reckon it's actually a firm called Manchester Outsourcing based at Pomona Strand, Old Trafford. I've been getting loads of calls from 0161814 numbers with different endings. Seems like they source leads from various places and try to pitch anything. If you get called, ask who they really are and the caller’s name, and make a complaint. Also, sign up to the TPS and email the company to have your number removed from their list.

Someone said they were from O2, but I told them I don’t share my info with just anyone. They said I’d signed up for a raffle to win an iPad and SIM card and just needed some details about my usage. I just ended the call.

It appears this is the very first instance of them calling me, as far as I'm aware. I opted not to pick up the phone since I tend to avoid answering calls from numbers I don’t recognise.

Called O2 customer service and honestly, it was pretty bad. The people there were really rude and seemed to be making things up. Every call starts with them insisting "you ordered an O2 sim card," which is just not true.

Its a call centre based in Manchester working for 02 pushing sim only deals, they got some exclusive offers you wont find in an O2 shop. Me and my sisters got our SIMs from them, they’s proper 02 ones and totally legit. Why do some folks have to spread fear for no reason?

I got a call from a company linked to O2 called Intelling. They apparently only get phone numbers from surveys folks fill out online. So, if you don’t want them calling you, just don’t do those surveys, it’s that easy. If you ask them over the phone, they admit its Intelling doing the calling.
