I've noticed this same number calling my mobile and my landline. I never pick up on my mobile if I don’t recognise the number, but when it rings my landline and I do answer, there’s silence on the other end. And obviously, I can’t tell if it’s that number unless I check 1471 afterwards. It’s really annoying!

This number keeps ringing me non stop, from the crack of dawn right till late at night. I’ve told them to piss off pretty much after the 50th call, especially since they kept waking me up every day and gave me a month of proper bad insomnia. Now it’s blocked.

I use 3 as my network and this number keeps phoning me. Usually I just hang up straight away, but I’m trying to figure out how to block it properly. I was also getting calls from them on my home phone, so I contacted trading standards and they hooked me up with some kind of blocker for the landline, which makes a big difference. I’ve blocked this number loads of times but they keep changing it, sometimes it’s only one digit that’s different. They call at all sorts of times, often when it’s really not a good time. They say they’re from 02, but I’m with 02 already, and then they try to sell me a “better deal”. I just don’t bother answering now and block any new numbers they call from straight away.

They keep ringing me nonstop, even after I blocked the number, they just switch to a new one. I'm quite ill and really don’t need the hassle. Luckily on my landline, which’s a BT, there’s this feature on the answer machine that asks caller to leave a message, which they listen to, and then the callers hang up quite fast. Wish I could get something like that for my mobile!

Honestly, just tell them you’ve signed up with the TPS and that you’re recording the conversation. They usually back off pretty sharp once you mention you might take legal steps lol. Give it a go yourself, it really works!

So now I get why BT lets these calls through - it’s because O2 is part of their group! That’s how they manage to get past number blocks as well. Proper nasty of BT to be doing that!
