I’ve blocked this number loads of times but they keep changing it, sometimes it’s only one digit that’s different. They call at all sorts of times, often when it’s really not a good time. They keep ringing me nonstop, even after I blocked the number, they just switch to a new one. I'm quite ill and really don’t need the hassle. Luckily on my landline, which’s a BT, there’s this feature on the answer machine that asks caller to leave a message, which they listen to, and then the callers hang up quite fast. Wish I could get something like that for my mobile!

Take matters into your own hands... simply mention that you are registered with the TPS and are currently recording our conversation... they promptly back off when you indicate that you may take legal action against them, quite amusing indeed.

So now I get why BT lets these calls through - it’s because O2 is part of their group! That’s how they manage to get past number blocks as well. Proper nasty of BT to be doing that!

i keep getting loads of calls from this number on my phone. thankfully my samsung can spot scam or fraud calls and warns me about them, so i dont even answer or block the number straight away. there are a few other numbers starting with 0161 that my phone also flags as suspicious, i'll share those in another comment soon.
