2 yearsI applied for the eco4 government scheme and got a call from this number. The bloke on the phone kept dodging my questions and only seemed interested in booking a surveyor appointment. The original slot was set for 9.30 this morning. Around 9.15, I got another call from a woman who said because I didn’t pick up yesterday, they’d pushed my appointment to 11am. She claimed she had rung me seven times and implied I was ignoring her. I told her she’d only called twice and that I’d even phoned back and left a message. She then accused me of lying! When I pointed out the guy booking the appointment was dodgy and wouldn’t clearly say if this was really about the free grant, she said Monmouthshire isn’t part of the scheme and I shouldn’t expect freebies. I explained Monmouthshire is definitely included, and her response was to curse at me and hang up.
