I recently had an unpleasant encounter with a rather rude sales representative named Saul Kersh, who decided to cold call us about a service that I had absolutely no interest in. To make matters worse, he reached out through a number that I had explicitly not authorised for such calls. The call came from 016181 46998, and it was purportedly about some HMRC initiatives aimed at Business Development, claiming that they "wanted" me to submit a claim for research and development tax relief. After I quite firmly declined the dubious services being offered, I was taken aback to find that just 20 minutes later, my company received a scathing one-star review on Google Maps. What are the chances of that happening? I certainly doubt it was mere coincidence, especially since we don't even have a website up and running yet, and we haven't begun selling anything. We only established our startup a couple of months back without any clientele-certainly an impressive target for a negative review. Additionally, if one were to scrutinise this individual's profile, it's rather clear that they're solely there to dish out one-star ratings to businesses that choose not to engage with their unsolicited offers.
