Got a call from some call centre pretending it’s about car insurance, telling me I’ve got a personal injury payout to claim from an accident nearly a year back! I was totally sceptical, told them it was rubbish and asked them to take my name off their list. Right after that, they just hung up on me. I’m on the TPS, so I really shouldn’t be getting calls like this in the first place.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from the insurance underwriters. They were way too chatty and friendly for my liking. When I asked them to tell me who my actual insurance provider was, they suddenly just cut the call. Needed to be careful with that one.
