I got a call from 01618146512 asking for John Milburn. They said they were from National Accident Data, based at The Daily Express building on Great Ancoats Street, Manchester, M4 5DE. Seemed pretty official, but I wasn’t sure if it was legit.

sounds like some kinda dodgy insurance scam to me.

i got a call from some scammers claiming i’d been in a car accident. they asked for my info but when i pointed out they already said they had my file, the woman on the phone got really rude, shouting and threatening me. then she said she’d keep calling me every hour for the next 3 and a half years. yeah, right like that’s gonna happen. i just blocked her number straight away. what a lovely person!

A couple of days back, I got a call from some cheeky lad from Manchester asking if my missus had been in a crash - which she definitely hasn’t. It's no surprise that car insurance costs a bomb when you've got these crash-for-cash types about.
