Got a call from a number I didn't recognise, but they didn’t leave a message. If it was important, wouldn't it make more sense to drop me a message or something? I haven’t had any emails, texts or anything from them. After reading other comments, I’m pretty sure this isn’t someone I’m waiting to hear from.

This number and others like it keep ringing me but i dont pick up. They never bother to leave a voicemail either. After seeing what people are saying here, i've decided to block them.

Some bloke called sayin I was owed a refund from a loan or something (never had one) and said they’d send a letter. They had my name and address but kept askin me to confirm where I live. I knew straight away it was dodgy so I just hung up and blocked the number.

They mentioned something about insurance and already had my name and address. Then they asked for my date of birth. I told them I don’t share personal info on calls, and when I refused to give it, they just cut me off. Best not to pick up.

They phoned me three times within 5 minutes claiming I was due £2500 from Halifax, which is odd because I’ve never even had an account with them? Anyway, they didn’t seem to care. Kept pestering me for my DOB, so I just gave them one I made up and suddenly I was 20 years younger! Haha.

Got a call about PPI, they wanted someone I’ve never heard of. Told them to remove me from their list but they just wouldn’t back off. Proper rude and kept pushing like I hadn’t said no already.

Well, this is a first for me! Just had a call claiming I’m in line for a £2500 reimbursement linked to some interest overcharges. Quite amusingly, I received two calls today-one got my address spot on, but the second was based on my previous residence! Honestly, the quality of their script readers leaves much to be desired.

At first, they asked to speak with me, I asked who was calling. They said there was a cheque for £2,500 waiting for me, but I knew it was fishy. I told them if they really owed me money, just send it over, no need for fuss. They said they needed to confirm my address, to which I replied anyone owing me would already have it. I dragged the call on until they sounded annoyed. I asked if they enjoyed me wasting their time, then I ended the call.
