Got a call from 01618132318, a bloke named James claiming to be an account manager pushing SEO services and wanted £139 from me. I said I wasn’t interested but he tried cutting the price as if he was bargaining, then just ended the call abruptly. When I rang back to find out which firm he was from, they wouldn’t say and just tried to get me to hang up. Stay clear of these lot - it’s a total con!

I'm thoroughly fed up with receiving calls from this outfit, proclaiming they can catapult me to the top spot on Google-complete nonsense if you ask me. I'd advise steering clear of them and making sure Yell hears about it. They kick things off by claiming they've come across my listing on Yell, but I know for certain that Yell disapproves of such tactics. Honestly, if you've had similar experiences, do make a point to inform Yell!

Indeed, I've received a couple of calls from this outfit, with their primary contact number being 0845 254 2533. During my conversation with Mark Graham, who identified himself as a manager, I made it clear that I wished for my numbers to be excluded from their call list. Should they persist, I will not hesitate to lodge a formal complaint with OFCOM, particularly as all my numbers are properly registered with the Telephone Preference Service and the Corporate Telephone Preference Service.

A couple of weeks back, I received a call from this number shortly after I posted my new business on Yell.com. Just as others have mentioned, the woman on the line was trying to convince me to fork out cash to get my advertisement featured on the front page. She claimed to be affiliated with Yell.com, but it's quite clear this is a scam!

I had quite an encounter with their sales team. Initially, they seemed quite sharp, but after some probing questions, I really started to question their credibility. They initially quoted me £79 to feature on Google’s front page, but I managed to haggle it down to £45. Speaking to about four different team members was an experience, to say the least-each one fumbled through their responses, often repeating the same lines and dodging my direct queries. If you're considering any deals, I suggest doing your homework beforehand. Don’t rush into handing over cash over the phone!
