I've also found that when I mention to those few callers that I’m on the TPS list and that cold calling me is against the rules, they quickly hang up and leave me alone. Someone rang saying they were from Aviva about life insurance. Honestly, I couldn’t make out a single thing they were saying and just ended the call. These calls are getting so annoying, really wish they’d do something to stop all these nuisance calls.

Picked up the phone and there was loads of noise in the background. Sounds like a really bad call centre. The woman wanted to talk to me, so I asked who she was. She gave some kinda scripted reply but it was all muffled and kinda unclear. I asked her to say it again before she continued. It was something about an Insurance Review Company. I told her I wasn’t interested and to remove my info from their records. I’ve blocked the number now.
