I got a call claiming to be from my bank’s security team about some dodgy activity on my card. It started with the typical automated message asking me to press 1 to stop the transaction or 2 to talk to an agent. Instead, I hit 0 and an Asian woman answered. I told her straight up it was a scam and that I’d be reporting it. She just said, “Go right ahead.” These annoying calls really need to stop!

Allegedly, I received a call from something claiming to be Bank Security, with a recorded voice detailing two dubious transactions on my card. The typical options were presented: hit 1 to cancel or 2 to chat with an operator. It’s baffling how they assume folks are gullible. There wasn’t even a specific bank mentioned! When I pressed 0, I was passed to a woman with a distinctly Asian accent. I informed her that this was a scam and that I would be reporting it. Her response? She simply said, "Feel free to do that!" Can you imagine?
