Just got a call a couple minutes ago, I picked up and then there was an automated message saying no agents were available to talk at the moment, plus it gave another phone number to ring back on but I didn’t manage to jot it down - before I could it ended the call. They said something about being from a legal company, but didn’t catch the exact name. Looks like they’re just tossing out calls to loads of numbers and if someone picks up, they try to connect you to a real person - sounds like normal spam stuff. Number’s now blocked.

I blocked this number ages ago, yet it keeps popping up on the caller ID about 4 or 5 times every day. Big shoutout to my Call Blocker for keeping them at bay. It’s just annoying that no one in the phone industry seems bothered enough to actually stop these pest calls for good. Seriously, does anyone over in the sub-continent actually do proper work?

Constant calls from someone saying they're Benefits UK, but they're not legit. Don’t fall for their "just a couple questions and I won’t bother you again" line, and definitely don’t share any personal details. If you miss a call or get a voicemail, don’t bother ringing them back. Just hang up, block the number, and carry on with your day.

0161 768 0515 has been ringing non-stop for the past few weeks, sometimes 3-4 times every hour and on some days it just doesn’t stop at all! It’s driving me mad especially since me and my partner both work for an airline and need sleep sometimes. I’ve blocked the number through Plusnet and marked it as a nuisance now.

Some bloke rang asking for the previous owner of our place. When I told him they no longer lived here, he said he’d chat to me instead. I said I wasn’t bothered with whatever he was pushing, and he then claimed he wasn’t selling anything but was from some ‘Benefits UK’ office - no idea what that means. I told him I wasn’t interested and that I’d hang up, which I did. Still heard him shouting right until the call ended.
