I politely informed them they'd got the wrong person and attempted to request that they take my number off their list. To my surprise, they just slammed down the phone without so much as a word. So the first time I got called by this number, it was a woman with an Indian accent who basically told me to "get lost" because I wouldn't give my address and postcode. Since then, I’ve had about six more calls from them, and every single one was just as rude. I've blocked the number now, thankfully.

I’ve marked this number as unsafe now. They keep ringing me trying to get personal details for scams. Within half an hour, the same number, 0161 826 7126, called again, really pushy and annoying. Just block it. If you sign up for the Telephone Preference Service (TPS), you won’t get calls from legit companies as they respect that list and usually say sorry and hang up if they ring by mistake. These ones don’t, which shows they’re scammers. Honestly, I reckon this number’s risky - they could end up causing real trouble for someone who falls for it.

I got a call from some bloke claiming he was from a company. When I asked which one, he just repeated himself. This guy rang me twice yesterday on 01970 709812, which shows up as Aberystwyth, Wales. He said he needed to ask me a couple of questions but then went on and gave my old name and address. I told him I wasn’t okay with answering anything, and he got quite rude before hanging up on me.
