I was contacted by someone trying to peddle solar panels, despite having explicitly stated that I'm retired due to health issues and simply cannot manage any payments. The sales pitch was relentless, and they insisted on conducting an on-site survey. I couldn't help but chuckle when I replied, “That’s not happening anytime soon, is it?” When I mentioned that I’m self-isolating due to the pandemic, the salesperson seemed quite taken aback since they claimed they’d seen an uptick in interest. I made it clear that I'm following strict isolation guidelines because of several health complications. The person assured me they adhere to government protocols and are tested every couple of days, but I argued that if I can’t have friends over, why would I welcome a sales rep into my home? To top it off, they had my address wrong and kept referring to me with a hyphenated first name, despite me already requesting they drop that part. The whole experience was rather rude, and their refusal to accept my decision was frankly unacceptable, especially given the current circumstances.

I received a call regarding solar energy solutions, which I politely declined. When I expressed my disinterest, the caller probed further, asking for my reasons. I pointed out that it was rather late - nearly 9.10pm! He cheekily corrected me, claiming it was just 9.09pm and suggested there was no need for me to be irritable. Despite my attempts to end the conversation, he continued to press for an explanation of my disinterest. I found the whole experience rather unsettling, so just a heads up to others!

When I answered the phone, I got a recorded message that said: "You've received a call from GREENER CLIMATE (?). No action is required on your part. We'll try ringing you again in the coming days." It makes you wonder why they wouldn't just have a real person speaking when I picked up! Quite baffling, really!

I've had another call from this number - that makes it twice today alone, and a staggering seven times over the past week! Each time it’s the same automated spiel. Quite maddening, really. Out of curiosity, I decided to ring them back only to be greeted by yet another pre-recorded message from howmuchdosolarpanelscost.co.uk. What a nuisance!
