Phone rang yesterday, woman asked for my partner by name. I said he wasn’t here and she sounded really uninterested, started going on about some change to our mortgage. I told her I had no clue about that, then she just said something like "I'll update our info", which felt a bit strange as a response, then she just hung up. I figured that’d be it but they called again today, probably trying to get hold of him still. Definately feeling like harrassment now.

The caller managed to reach us on the first try, there was just a tiny lag, and they seemed quite taken aback to actually get hold of someone. They claimed to be from The Mortgage Review Centre. Since we haven’t had a mortgage in ages, I told them we don’t know them at all. The woman said she’d make a note to update their records. Seems a bit dodgy as we don’t recognise the company or the name at all. I’ve also had a quick look on Companies House just to be sure.

When I picked up, they seemed proper clueless they were even on the line, and I could hear a woman swearing and having a right old argument with someone else in the office for ages - something about how nothing gets sorted when Stevie (?) isn't around. Got a call from someone named Lorraine checking if I was still keen on a remortgage after a chat last October. Problem is, I’ve never had any talks about remortgaging and couldn’t be less interested. Told her to take me off their list and she just cut the call while I was mid-sentence. Blocked her straight away and I’d say anyone else gettting calls from them should be really wary.
