Had a call from some bloke claiming to be from an insurance company. I just told him to get lost and slammed the phone down. Total scam, don’t waste your time!

These two numbers, 0161 738 1643 and 0161 738 1644, kept ringing me but I ignored them at first. Finally, I picked up and they claimed to be from some Review Department for life insurance companies. They started asking loads of questions, like my date of birth, address, and which company covers me, but I dodged all that. In the end, I told them I’d contact my insurer myself, and they said I wasn’t allowed to, but I told them I was! So now I’ve blocked both numbers. Honestly, don’t share any details with them!

Got a call about some life insurance "review" - total scam! Be careful; it’s all just a con.

Somebody rang me saying it was a Life Insurance check on my AIG policy - problem is, I don’t even have an AIG policy! Then they said they were calling for the Financial Conduct Authority and wanted to put me through to them. Total rubbish. I’ve blocked the number now.
