So I got a call from 676 1942 but it was missing the 01 at the start, which was odd. The name on the line said The Orion Line. Honestly, forget call centres - feels like these folks are running things from some secret bunker underground. Wouldn’t expect any proper human being to take on that kind of rubbish work. 👎

This morning, 19/08/2021 at about 09:13, I got a call where a voice warned me that my National Insurance number had been involved in some suspension stuff. They said if I press one, I could talk to an officer. Seems suspicious to me.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with the National Crime Agency, saying my National Insurance was linked to several crimes. When he asked my name, I gave him Mrs Fanny Hardcock. He threatened I'd get arrested. So far, no one’s come for me.

Someone called me saying they were from the NCA about some illegal stuff. They told me to press 1, and as soon as I did, an agent answered but didn’t say who they were. The person had an Indian accent and there was lots of background noise. They asked for my name and then wanted me to spell it out. I began spelling and then the call just cut off. They should really know who they’re ringing and why! I’ve been caught out by scams before, so I’m certain this is one. Hopefully, someone can trace these calls and put a stop to these fake threats.
