I received a rather dodgy call from someone purporting to represent my life insurance provider. They rattled off a name and an address that didn’t belong to me at all. When I told them that was incorrect, they got quite confrontational, claiming they had me on tape and accused me of being dishonest. Their tone turned really aggressive, which threw me off completely. I'm convinced this is a scam, so I've gone ahead and blocked their number.

I got a call from someone saying they were from a life insurance firm. They gave a name and an address, but when I said that wasn’t where I live, they accused me of lying and said they had me on record. Then they just ended the call. I blocked the number straight away and reported it.
