I've been troubled by this particular number for a fair while now. Initially, I thought it might be Vodafone trying to reach out to me for some unknown reason. However, after receiving frequent calls, I began to suspect it could be a pesky PPI salesperson. This number rings me at least once a week, typically on the same day. Firstly, I don't even have an account with Vodafone (and for very good reasons at that), and even if I did, it’s absolutely none of their business!
Moreover, my number is unlisted, so the only way they could have got hold of it is by doing an awful lot of dialing.
Honestly, save yourselves the hassle of answering these calls, but if you do pick up, just instruct them to remove your number from their system - and do mention that you record all your conversations!
