I get about two calls daily from these predictive diallers, and it’s impossible to get the agent to put a stop to it. When you ask them who their boss is, most haven’t got a clue. They’re usually poorly paid and don’t seem to know much about what they’re doing.

They provide staff and office space for various big brands like Orange, T-Mobile, EE, Vodafone, Experian, and Optical Express. Their landline is 01619186752. If you head over to their website and scroll down to the bottom, you’ll find a link for “Sitemap.” There, you can fill out a form to get your number removed from their calling list. The message says something like, “If you’ve been contacted by SLM Connect and don’t want any more calls, please fill in the form below. Your number should then be taken off our database within 7 working days.” Here’s their site: www.slmconnect.co.uk I’ve only just submitted my details, so I’m not sure yet if it’ll actually stop the calls, but hopefully it works.

A little while ago, this number started ringing me quite a bit. At first, I thought it might be Vodafone trying to contact me for some reason, but as the calls kept coming, I figured it could be someone trying to push PPI claims.

I usually get a ring from this number about once a week, often on the same day. I never seem to pick up in time, and from what I can tell, there’s never anyone speaking when I answer.

Lately, another unknown number, 01332387210, has also been calling me. I’m not sure if it’s connected to the first or a different caller altogether. Neither of them ever bother to leave a message, so I just don’t bother calling back. 01332387210 rang both yesterday and the Monday before that.
