I have my phone set so that any calls from numbers I don’t recognise automatically go to voicemail. If it’s someone real, they usually leave a message, but if there’s nothing there, I’m pretty sure it’s either some sort of scam or just a telemarketer. I just assume these calls are dodgy since their main aim is to try and get your cash.

We signed up for the TPS, so really they shouldn’t be ringing us up. There was no voicemail left, which makes me think it’s just a load of scammers since proper callers normally leave a message!

Got a call from UPS (I guess that stands for Utilities Preferences Services?) trying to get me to renew my Eon contract, but it’s not even due yet. Turns out they’re just a broker, not actually from Eon. Quite misleading really.
