Got a call from someone saying they were with UPS but acting for EON. They wanted the account password, which they clearly had no clue about, so I knew they weren’t our actual supplier. When I questioned them, they insisted they were calling for EON. Told them to take me off their list. Definitely a sales call, nothing else.

I got a call from someone saying they were with UPS, working for EON, wanting to renew my electricity contract. They actually had my address and the current plan details right, which threw me off a bit, but they used my name even though I’m not the one listed on the account. When I told them I couldn’t make those decisions, the guy kept pushing for a time to call back to speak to the account holder. I kept telling him that the person wasn’t reachable at this number and that I’d have to get in touch with them first, but he just wouldn’t drop it.
