This bloke who said his name was Gabriel rang me up, claiming he only had three questions to ask. He somehow knew where I lived and started off by asking if I owned the property, how many kids I had, then whether I’d got house insurance. I didn’t give any straight answers. After that, he muttered something I couldn’t make out. When I asked him to repeat himself, he just said I’d get a no obligation call, but wouldn’t say what about. I said I didn’t want any calls at all. Oddly, he then asked me to say my full name and the date today. When I asked why, he just muttered something unintelligible a few times. So, I just ended the call there.

If it’s someone actually important they’ll leave a voicemail, so no need to pick up. I just let the scammers waste their time listening to the phone ring out. Imagine if everyone started doing that, they’d soon run out of people to bother. So seriously, let’s all try to ignore unknown calls and not give in to the urge to answer. Just let it keep ringing!
