I reckon this person was trying to check if I was actually home or if my number is active. I just ignored the calls and let it keep ringing since I don't know anyone from Manchester. After a while, it got annoying so I ended up blocking the number.

Picked up the phone and they immediately called me by my name. I asked what company they were from, and they said insurance. I told them to try conning someone else today. They didn’t take it well and told me to f*** off quite clearly. Honestly, it’s hard to find decent people working these days, haha.

Somebody rang me up and started naming my home address, asking if I own the place or rent it. When I asked what the call was about, they told me to shut up - so rude and unpleasant!

The person on the other end said my name but quickly ended the call the moment I asked them who it was.

Was driving when they rang me. I told them I’d get back to them later, but then they just ended the call. I looked up the number after and found out it’s linked to spam. So I ended up blocking it.

There was a long pause before they finally started talking, and they already knew my name and where I live - sounded like they were reading from a script. They said, "I just need twenty seconds of your time - I'm not trying to sell you anything." When I asked what this was about, they just repeated that first line over and over without actually answering. Then they began shouting the same sentence again. Well, I guess they got their twenty seconds after all.
