Got a ring from this number earlier, someone saying they were from the NHS. They started asking if I’d experienced any side effects from a vaccine, if I’d caught covid and when exactly. Then they wanted to know about my health insurance, who it was with and all that. When I said I wasn’t sure, they kept pressing for the name of my insurance company. Once I refused, the call just ended. They sounded pretty legit, with background chatter like they were sitting in some big call centre or something.

Got a call from an Indian lady with a foreign accent claiming to be from the NHS about covid. She kept saying my name over and over, giggling with someone else. When I asked why they were laughing and what was so funny about my name, she told me they were actually mocking my profile picture - my face! It was really disrespectful, then she just hung up, still laughing! Honestly, it’s awful that there’s no way to stop these annoying calls. They could really upset vulnerable people.

Got a call earlier today from a bloke with an Asian accent, claiming to be from the NHS and asking about my covid jab status. I was pretty quick to call him out, since I’m actually a clinical nurse manager at a large vaccination centre and haven’t heard of anything like this going on. What freaks me out is that I’d just got my PCR test result this morning. Makes me wonder if these scammers somehow have access to NHS covid info? Bit worrying if you ask me!

I've gotten calls from this number like six times just today from morning till afternoon, and it was ringing a bunch yesterday too. The final digit seems to jump between a 2, 8, and 9. Now I've got even more numbers to shove onto my growing block list.

I’ve had calls from a number almost identical to one I already blocked, except the last digit was a 2 instead of a 4. I picked up by mistake 'cos the screen was blurry, but all I got was heavy breathing and no words at all. Somebody rang claiming they were from Citizens Advice, but I quickly clocked it was an Indian call centre on the other end, which made the woman laugh like it was some kind of joke. I asked her for a number to ring back on, and wouldn't you know it, she just ended the call. It’s maddening how these scammers keep getting away with it. Got a call from a woman saying she wanted to do a review after my covid jab. She asked if I had any side effects, then started quizzing me about private health insurance and life insurance. She said they had to update my info, including what life cover I had and with which company. Didn’t trust it one bit and ended the call right there... Stay clear and don’t share any of your info with them!!!
