Got a call from 0161 527 4494, tried ringing them back but no answer. Before I could call again, they ended the call themselves.

I've received an endless stream of calls from this number, which has become quite tiresome. In the end, I had no choice but to block it. Seems like a typical scam to me, whatever their game is.

I found this caller to be rather dodgy, so I promptly hung up. He used my actual name and inquired whether I had ever made a claim for PPI. It felt like a potential scam! Completely out of the blue, this call caught me off guard. This number doesn’t ring any bells for me.

So this person called me up, used my name and immediately started asking if I'd ever made a PPI claim. They totally lost interest when I told them I'd already claimed within the past year.

This number rang me up and claimed to be the legal aftercare squad, mentioning all the calls I've been getting lately. They asked me to verify that everything’s settled and no payments are left pending, promising they'd put an end to the calls. Not sure if it’s legit, so I guess time will tell.
