A gentleman of Asian descent rang me up claiming he required my bank card information to settle a phone bill. I flat-out told him that what he was saying was utter nonsense. However, I kept him on the line for a decent stretch of time, which, in my mind, was a clever way to prevent him from conning anyone else with his dubious spiel.

Had a call from an Asian guy who said he needed my bank card details to sort out my phone bill. I told him straight, what he was saying made no sense at all. Still, I kept him talking for a bit just to waste his time and hopefully stop him from trying the same scam on someone else.

Some bloke speaking with an Asian accent rang me, claimed to be from the UK government or something. I just hung up straight away. Definitely a scam.

I got a ring from an Asian bloke saying there was an issue with my computer. He wanted me to punch in some code, something like 00C 04FD7DO62. I said no way, and he just stopped talking right there. Definitely just another scam!
