This number called me a couple of days back, I tried calling it today just to see who it was but no one answers and it shows as unknown. I'm pretty sure its one of those scam calls.

Blocking doesn't help at all. These nuisance callers just keep switching numbers and ringing again. Someone mentioned reporting to the police last night, so I've done the same. I'll also be getting in touch with my MP like others have said. There’s got to be some way to put a stop to this. Just blocking doesn’t seem to do a thing. I wonder if all the 1600+ folks who checked this number here had also filed a report with the police and complained to their MPs about these scammy calls and messages, maybe something’d actually change?

BEWARE OF SCAMS! If you get a dodgy call or text, make sure you report it straight away to the police fraud site. Just search for ‘action fraud’ or visit ‘police.uk’. There’s a section for reporting phishing, where you should take a proper look at all the info before you fill out the form with the scam details. If you’ve got any links or website addresses from the scam, include those too. You don’t need to sign up or give any personal details unless you’ve actually lost money. The only way the police can keep track of these crooks is if everyone reports these dodgy attempts.

The caller kept saying something about their website, but it was all just gibberish to me.
