Received a call earlier today from 01615 202 635, a man with an Indian accent saying his name was David. He said he worked for Infinity and tried to push some phone blocking service on me. He kept asking for my full name and address, which I wasn’t comfortable giving out. I mentioned I’m on the TPS list and warned him that if this was a scam he’d be breaking regulations. I asked him to send me the info through the post instead. After a bit of back and forth, he got quite frustrated and just hung up.

This morning at about 10.25, a man with a foreign accent rang my landline saying my credit card had expired. He claimed to represent a call blocking service and wanted me to confirm my details, probably my credit card info. I told him I never subscribed to any TPS service, which btw doesn’t stop all spam calls anyway. Then he insisted I did pay for it via Direct Debit. I told him no such thing exists on my accounts. He kept saying it’s included in my phone bill payments. I asked him then why he needed my credit card if that’s true. I said I wasn’t going to waste any more time and hung up. The same sort of call came from 02894601091 on 26 August around 11.26 - I ended the call straight away but the number keeps ringing daily after that. I know the number and just ignore it now. I’m noting down every time they call. Can anyone please do something to stop this pestering?

Got a call from this number on 31st May 2022. It was an automated message with a robot woman’s voice, claiming to be from a firm, asking me to press 9 if I wanted to stop receiving calls. Seemed dodgy to me, so I just ended the call and didn’t press anything or talk to anyone.
