Somebody called me claiming to be from HMRC, telling me I hadn’t paid some fees and that if I didn’t sort it immediately, legal trouble would follow. They tried to get me to give my bank details over the phone, but I told them HMRC wouldn’t ask for that kind of info by phone - they normally send letters for stuff like this.
