Somebody claiming to be from O2 called me, saying they needed a security code sent to my phone to apply a discount. They told me to ignore any security alerts since it only matters for future requests for the code. I got a bit suspicious and said I wouldn’t share it. They got really annoyed and started getting quite rude before they ended the call on me.

It’s rather alarming, as this makes the sixth call I've had in just a few days, each one from a different number. I reckon the spate of calls started after I answered the first one, before I noticed the fraud alert.
