I got a call from 0161 520 1915, someone told me they were from Citizens Advice and said they could help sort my debts into an IVA. When I rang back using a random number, it turned out to be some place called "Green Energy". Proper fishy if you ask me.

Just got a call from 0161 520 1863 again. I’m disabled and fell twice already trying to answer the phone. Is it possible to do something legal before I take another bad tumble getting to it? Does someone have to get badly hurt before they put a stop to these calls?

Every time I answer the phone, they don’t tell me who they are and just hang up straight away. It’s quite irritating, especially since I’m disabled and it takes me a bit longer to pick up. I got called twice from different numbers by some dodgy people claiming I owed money. When I told them I had no debts, they just cut the call. Then right after, another call comes through with the same spiel, word for word. Total scam, watch out!

Got a call from a woman asking for me by name, so I jokingly said it was Minnie Mouse on the line. She just cut off the call after that. I’ve since blocked the number. When I phoned it back, an automated voice said something about Green Energy. I looked it up online and the real Green Energy number is 01920 486156, so I’m pretty sure it’s some kind of scam.

I've set up a call blocker so my phone never rings, but I can still see who's been calling. I regularly look at this website to keep track. So far, I've blocked about 30 calls and none have disturbed me. Honestly, call centre folks seriously need to get a proper job and stop pestering people.

This company keeps ringing me up saying I've got debts that I'm supposedly paying off, which is rubbish because I don’t owe anyone anything. Every time I tell them I’ll report their number to the cops, they hang up straight away. Usually, I get about five or six calls from them each week - it’s proper annoying!

Got a call from this number, some bloke asking if I owed any money and saying he could help clear it up. I told him I don’t have any debt at all, and he just ended the call straight away. I tried ringing back with 141 before the number to hide my ID, and it went to some recorded message about Green Energy saying all their agents were tied up. Very odd.

The caller asked if Mrs Armstrong was available, but no one here goes by that name. Then they jumped straight into talking about some debt help service linked to the government, claiming they could wipe out 60% of what I owe. Total scam, no doubt about it! I had a bit of time, so I just let them carry on. They only needed my bank info to get things moving. I told the guy he was a proper con artist and ended the call while he kept trying to persuade me. BLOCKED him right away! Would recommend you do likewise.
