I rang the number back but there was no answer, just silence. From what I’ve seen in other reviews, this looks like it could be a scam. Remember, big companies like O2, EE, or any banks won’t usually be ringing you up out of the blue. Be careful folks!

Got a ring from 0161 520 2673 earlier, was some kind of push to get me signed up for a van or car emissions claim or something like that... seemed a bit dodgy to me.

I got a call from someone saying they were from HMRC. They told me there was some fraud going on with my identity and said to hit button 1 right away. It sounded dodgy to me.

Twice I’ve rung this number, and each time a guy said he was with O2. He tried to tell me I could get a discount on my monthly plan. Oddly, I got a text from O2 with a security code I never asked for. I checked with O2, and they said they don’t phone customers about their accounts or offer upgrades like this. They usually use the number 02089581219. Best thing is to just decline and put the phone down!
