I picked up the phone for my elderly folks and got the same robotic message that’s been going around, with an option to talk to a person (#2). I pressed it and a bloke came on, asking for my info. Told him this card isn’t mine, it belongs to my dad. Then I asked why the bank hadn’t bothered to call my parents directly. He just said, “Good question,” and then cut me off. Lucky for him, or else I would've really given him earful. It’s disgusting how they mess with older people like that. If only I could’ve reached through the phone, I’d have given him what for!
