Glad I let the call go through my caller ID blocker, cause the number popped up here as sketchy. If someone's calling up saying you've spent loads on your card, I'd assume it's a total scam too, probably trying to scare you or steal your info. Best not to trust those calls at all.

I looked it up and folks are saying they pretend to be from a bank, telling you there’s been a large purchase and ask you to ring a certain number. Don’t do it! It’s definitely a scam.

The call showed a Manchester code, so I answered with a simple "Hello." A bloke with a noticeable foreign accent asked, "Is this Mr ------?" I cut him off straight away. Some might say it’s just annoying or a random call, but for me, it feels quite risky.
