Got a call from some bloke claiming to be Brian from Carphone Warehouse, sounded Indian. Didn’t bother to chat, just hung up and blocked him. Then yesterday, got a call again, but this time the guy said his name was David and the number was 02089544812. Didn’t trust it, blocked that one as well.

Total scam alert! Some bloke said he was from 3 mobile but switched companies loads of times during the call. Tried to get info out of me but I acted clueless (like, 'Oh, just an iPhone, dunno what model'). I mentioned I only spend £10 a month, which is legit, and then he started pushing me a deal for £25 a month to "lower my bill" - obviously just reading off a script. I told him I don’t want unlimited data or international calls, that’s why I stick with £10, then just ended the call.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Amazon, saying my Prime subscription needed to be paid right away and to press 1 to connect with an agent. The funny thing is, I don’t even have Amazon Prime! Total scam, avoid it!

I got a odd call that said it was from O2, the lady on the line just rambled nonsense before cutting off. So I tried ringing back and got an automated system. Press 1 to talk to an agent but it goes straight to a voicemail box at extension 0092. Press 2 supposedly removes your number from their list, which I didn’t bother with. The company named on the message was DCT Communications. Really strange situation.

Got a call supposedly from Curry’s PC World offering a phone contract for an Apple 13 Pro Max at £30 a month. They asked for loads of personal details like my full name, date of birth, address, and wanted payment straight away. Then, when the call dropped, they rang back in just a few minutes from a different number: 020 8528 4858. Proper annoying and felt like harassment. Definitely not a native English speaker either.

I got a call from an asian man, but he wasn’t very clear about why he was ringing. When I asked him to take me off his calling list, he quickly got quite rude and defensive.
