I’m so fed up with loads of calls coming through without any message left. I’ve got my iPhone set up to ask callers to state their name and reason for calling, but nobody seems to bother with that. So I don’t find out someone called me until I check my phone and spot a missed call. These cold calls really should be banned. Already blocked another number today - that makes four I’ve had to block just since Monday!

I told her I've never had any car finance in my life. When I asked her where she got that info from, she said it was from some third party. I explained that she clearly had the wrong details. She kept insisting that her records showed I'd taken out car finance. Then I threw in, how does a blind person manage to get car finance and actually drive a car? Suddenly she got really silent, so I just ended the call.
