Received a rather dodgy call from someone purporting to be “David” from a company called Lifestyle Habits, apparently. It didn’t take long for it to dawn on me that this was one of those Indian call centre con artists. He was trying to pry into my personal details under the guise of a legitimate inquiry. Complete nonsense, if you ask me!

The voice sounded like someone with a thick Indian accent. Later, they called back again, this time saying they were from Lifestyle Habits. When I mentioned I’d already spoken to them, the person on the other end suddenly snapped, “Just turn your flipping phone off!” It was really rude. You could tell they were in a noisy call centre, and the 0161 number they used was definitely fake.
