Totally believable but really risky. Some bloke rang me pretending to be from ‘Heatiand’ trying to get me to renew my boiler cover. He somehow had my full name and address. I actually already pay for a yearly service deal, so I nearly fell for it. Then he started going on about manufacturers’ warranties, which made me suspicious since my boiler’s about 17 years old and way past any warranty. When I asked him to tell me the manufacturer’s name, he just dropped the call. Watch out for stuff like this!
