We've chosen not to pick up, and while we're out, we make sure our answering machine is on, yet they never leave a message. What worries us is the possibility that they could be trying to reach someone who is elderly and perhaps struggles to answer the phone, leading to unnecessary distress or confusion for them. Although we’ve blocked the number, it still rings through. What steps can we take to address this situation?

Got a call from 0161 505 1202, some muppet wanted to speak to a twisted version of my surname, said it sounded French. Thing is, I’m Scottish and my name’s pure Scottish too. Told them to get lost sharpish. These lot can’t even say names right and probably up to some dodgy scam. Not falling for that nonsense. Proper annoying!
