Got a call from some group called the "Energy Advisory Board." A young bloke named Matthew rang, said he was with some government agency and told me I had issues with my loft insulation - which I knew nothing about! He just hung up on me, and when I tried calling back, all I got was some awful hold music. Definitely a scam!

As soon as I picked up, they hung up straight away. Since we're on the TPS and it's a business number, I'm guessing it was some kind of sales or scam call - BLOCKED.

They tried to get in touch with me through “Face Time” on my iPad. I wasn’t near it when they called, so I’ve blocked them. If they keep ringing my landline, I’m gonna block that number too and report them for harassment to the Police and BT.

I inquired about my late uncle, who passed away in 1996, and then about my aunt, who left us in 2014-both mentioned by name. The person on the other end responded with an unpleasant comment and abruptly ended the call. They refused to disclose their identity. I'm relieved that my 85-year-old mother didn't take the call; it would have been rather inappropriate for her to hear.

No clue who that was but they really spoke to me terribly! They were looking for someone else, so I said they got the wrong number. Then they asked if I was certain, and I told them I’m pretty sure I’m not the person they want. After that, they asked if I’d ever been married or changed my name. By that point I was getting annoyed so I said I’m definitely not married - I’d remember that! That’s when they got all cheeky and rude, so I told them to jog on and ended the call!
