this number has called me 6 times in 4 days. yesterday alone it rang 3 times within just half an hour. i picked up today and could hear voices in the background. after a few seconds, someone just said 'hello'. i replied with 'so you're actually gonna talk then?' and they just hung up. no clue what the point was, but ive blocked the number now.

Typical PPI nonsense. They called me with my old flat address, which as someone in insurance who calls clients all the time, you just dont do. Its a clear data protection violation. Anyone could’ve answered my phone. Then they asked for my new address (no way!) and if I’d ever had any mortgages or credit cards and I said no, told em to remove me from their records. If they ring again just answer, find out who they are, ask to be taken off their list as they’re legally obliged to do so by law, then block the number. Complete morons.

I picked up and they just hung up straight away. The number looked almost the same as one used by dodgy PPI claim firms. Watch out for numbers beginning with 0161503, usually the last four digits kick off with 20.
