Been rung up 6 times over the past two days, picked up each time but there’s no one on the other end saying anything.

Somebody called saying I was owed a refund and that I’d get a letter about it in the post soon. Then they started asking if I’d cleared all my loans, which I wasn’t up for talking about. After that, they tried asking about a credit card - which I don’t even have! They kept coming back to questions about my loans, so in the end, I just told them to stop and hung up.

It’s beyond frustrating, these incessant calls that seem to come at all hours of the day. I suspect they obtained my number from one of those dubious "claim your new iPhone X" scams. Thankfully, I had the sense not to divulge my bank details - a bit too foggy from the previous night’s revelry to be truly alert - but I did end up giving them my email and phone number. Now it appears they’ve peddled my info to these bothersome callers who seem relentless in their pursuit to squeeze me for cash. It’s just a right nuisance!
