I've had calls from these lot on a couple of occasions, mostly just ended up with them hanging up. But today, I actually stayed on the line. They rattled off my full name, address and phone number like they knew everything already. The moment I asked them what company they were representing, they cut me off. Proper annoying how they've got hold of my info without me ever agreeing to it.

Honestly, the ICO and other officials just aren’t doing enough to stop these calls, and they're happening way too often now! There's plenty of technology that could help block these nuisance calls, but nothing seems to be done. Plus, it’s crazy how phone numbers get handed out without checks. Businesses and individuals should be vetted before they’re allowed a UK number. Oh, and these fraudsters? They were ringing from India.
