Exercise caution, folks! Just yesterday, my grandmother received a call from these con artists insisting that her washing machine warranty was about to run out. The funny thing is, she's never had any form of insurance for it! Clearly, it's all a ruse!

I received a rather unwelcome call from a dubious individual using this number. They claimed to be contacting me in relation to an extended warranty for my newly purchased Bosch washing machine. The person tried to persuade me into renewing the warranty, but it all felt quite suspicious.

A call came through trying to get my 91-year-old grandma to renew a warranty for a washing machine she doesn’t even own. Then they tried to fish out a password using the name of her husband who’s been gone nearly 30 years. Truly shameful behaviour.

I was trying to figure out where this caller was ringing me from but she kept dodging the question. Eventually she said she was calling from Brighton, which sounded like a load of nonsense. She started on about how I could save loads on my phone contract. When I mentioned the Uckfield number I have, she said it was just for customer service inquiries. Honestly, I probably should have just put the phone down and waited a bit, but I couldn’t help myself and tried to keep her talking. What a pain!
