My phone stopped a call from this number about four hours ago.

I got a call from 0161 464 9025 but never picked up. They didn’t leave a voicemail or anything, so I looked them up here and decided to block it.

I picked up the phone, but there was silence on the other end, so I ended the call. After that, I dialled 1471 to check who'd called. A lady’s voice suddenly asked, ‘Who’s this?’ I responded with ‘Who are you?’ since she was the one that rang me. She just said ‘Hello’ after that, so I simply said ‘Goodbye’ and ended it.

Got a call about some payout for an accident that wasn't my fault. I told them cheers and to just send the cheque to the address they already have. They didn't seem pleased and asked for more personal details. No chance I’m sharing that.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from Halifax bank asking about my mortgage payments. I hung up straight away. When I tried to ring back, all I got was a recorded message just saying goodbye. Seems dodgy to me!

they try to get you to make a claim for ppi saying you might have been paid the wrong amount before, so you should check and claim any money back just in case
