A mate of mine got a call from someone pushing domain names for sale, seemed a bit dodgy to me. Could totally be a scam.

got a call from this lady saying yell had just dropped some domain names and she wanted to sell me one. sounded off to me, cos yell only hosts websites, they dont deal in selling domains or anything like that. quite suspicious if you ask me.

She never mentioned where she was ringing from but asked to talk to the owner, trying to pitch a domain name that apparently just became free again, as if! Told her I wasn’t interested, but she kept pushing. After a bit more of that, I just said no thanks and ended the call. Blocked her after that.
