They quit for a bit but then buzzed me again today. Caller: Hi (first name) I'm calling about an accident you were involved in. Me: Oh is this the paramedics? I’m bleeding bad, head nearly hanging off. Caller: awkward silence, then a WTF and they just hung up.

Definitely scammers. I could hardly make out anything from her awful "English". I told her to ring back once she’s properly learnt the language. Only then will she get what I’m trying to tell her. But I doubt she ever will.

They've rung me about 10 times this week, and every time I block one number, they come back from a different 0161 one. I told them to take me off their list as the UK law says they should. The guy was really pushy, kept talking over me and said "Look mate, I gotta do this first, you were in an accident." So I just hung up. I seriously can't stand these lot!!!

After much hesitation, I decided to pick up the phone. A lady with an accent that sounded foreign informed me that regarding a car accident I’d supposedly been involved in, the claim had now been resolved. I kindly interrupted her to clarify that I had never been in such an accident, and just like that, she ended the call without another word. It seems yet again I’ve encountered a scam! There really ought to be measures in place to tackle these pests.

Some woman rang saying she was from a firm named AMS, she used my first name but never mentioned my last name. She claimed she knew about me being in a road traffic crash, which was totally wrong. When I asked where she got that info from, she just cut me off and ended the call.

Those calls about fake accidents are pure scams. I really wish they would make these calls illegal and slap massive fines on the people behind them. Even on a Bank Holiday, these awful scammers keep ringing.

I’ve blocked these numbers before but they still manage to get through and leave voicemails claiming to be from Road Care, promising to ring back. They seem to switch up the final digits to use loads of different numbers. Sometimes they even call themselves Utilitas, I reckon. The police have told me they’re keeping tabs on them and arrests might be on the way since these callers clog up phone lines - even when folks are expecting urgent calls for medical or emergency reasons.

I got a call from this number about an accident they said I was involved in. I cut them off telling them I never had one and the woman just ended the call.

Got a call from a woman claiming to be from AMS, Accident Management Services, saying it was about an accident I supposedly had. I told her I hadn’t been in any accident. She kept pushing, asking, "Are you sure? It was around two years ago." I replied, "I’m pretty certain I’d remember that." Then she asked, "Does anyone else in your house, mate, had one?" That’s when I politely said I suspected it was a scam and ended the call.

Someone said they were gonna send me cash in the post because of an accident I had. When I asked where they got my details from, they claimed it was from my insurance. I asked who that was and for more info, then they just told me to get lost and ended the call. Pretty rubbish customer service if you ask me!!

Got a really nasty call from these lot about "my accident," claiming they work with my insurance. Told them to deal with my insurer instead. When I asked who they were and what they wanted, he just said I wasn’t letting him explain and called me "rude, mate!" Ended the call and blocked the number straight away!

bit gutted I didn’t catch their call, I was ready to have a proper chat about this accident I had - a bit of glass flew off the car in front and sliced my head open proper, and the doc said “don't worry, it’ll grow back eventually”. they always say it sounds like a claim, then just shove me onto the next person who tries to get my info. what a load of muppets.
