Thing is, I don’t have any debts like that, but I played along curious about what they’d say. Then they started asking for my bank info! How is this even legal? I’ve blocked the number now.

I’ve been getting nonstop calls from some bloke with an Indian accent claiming he can sort out my debt, which I don’t even have. I asked him nicely to stop ringing me and to leave me alone, explaining I know it’s a scam. Then he actually called me a [email protected]@CH and told me to [email protected]@ Off. I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number now.

I keep getting calls from 01614138326 and some mobiles too, claiming to be a credit reference. Every time I ask why they’re bothering a vulnerable person who’s not doing well, they just hang up. They obviously have my info but I’ve no idea who they are. This has to be stopped immediately, it’s proper harassment and making me feel unsafe.

Got a call from some bloke in India asking me about some credit card debt I supposedly had. When I asked him about GDPR and how he got my info, he claimed it was from a forum. Funny thing is, he already knew my email, so I told him to just send me the details by email instead. He insisted I had to talk to him first before he’d do that. We went back and forth for a while, and he kept asking why I didn’t want to discuss my ‘debt’. Eventually he lost his cool and just hung up on me.

These lot are proper scammers from Pakistan, calling from loads of different numbers. Got a call from 01616766969 as well, so best to block that one too. Honestly, don’t ever hand over your info on a call. I can’t figure out how anyone falls for their tricks, but sadly some do. Just watch out and don’t get caught up with these people.
